“You have to have confidence in your ability, and then be tough enough to follow through!”

Looking for an easy outfit to put together that will make you look professional and most importantly that is easy to do?

Pretty much every body type suits an A-line skirt – especially if you get one that is not too tight around the waist…If you pair it with a box style top, it can be really flattering, comfortable, easy AND professional.  Sometimes you need something for those days where you know you are going to have to wear something that is not going to bug you all day because it’s too tight, or that just has a little “give”.  This outfit is so simple, yet stylish.

The best thing about it is it is really easy to recreate for yourself.  The flow of the skirt makes it very feminine as well as classic, and by adding a pair of snakeskin pumps, it adds a little spice to an outfit that is just simply Black and White.

I chose to wear my hair up, typically I wear my hair up about half the time, mainly on days when I have important meetings because I feel it is a little more of a polished look.  I also like to make sure that I don’t look the same every day.  Small things to think about, but they can definitely make the difference when you are looking to make a great first impression on someone.  If you ask yourself what you notice when you first meet someone, that will give you some clues about where you need to focus your attention when you are getting ready.  Yes, we are all different and some of us notice things that others don’t and vice versa, so it is also useful to ask friends and colleagues what they notice, so you can make sure you present yourself as the WHOLE package!!

One thing I have realized even more recently, even though I am a very strong Woman, sometimes that can be a little intimidating at first glance, so I like to make sure that I ease people into my personality gradually 🙂
