For church today I put together an outfit that conveyed my current attitude – Sass! I was feeling confident, happy, cheeky and definitely fun. Just because I was going to church didn’t mean that I needed to be conservative…at least, I don’t think so! What you wear says so much about you, if you want to show people something, consider very carefully what you are wearing. It is like an unspoken language and very often can be the cause of how people treat you…
The tight pencil shirt is paired with a belted top and then finished off with a few Gold accents – including the shoes. The Gold shoes are something that add an extra piece to this outfit, I opted for them rather than a typical Black that may be worn with an outfit such as this. Leopard print looks great with so many different colors such as, Red, Yellow, Dark Green, Brown and Cream just to name a few. Sometimes it’s fun to add a color that is a little unexpected and really rock the outfit rather than trying to match things together too much.
The style of belted top works really well with something tighter on the bottom – which could mean, cigarette or tight pants, a pencil skirt, or even leggings. Because the top is belted it is going to draw attention to your waist and disguise problems that you may have around your hips. If you are someone that doesn’t have a smaller waist, this top will still work for you, just wear the belt a little looser rather cinching it too tight which would make uncomfortable and draw attention to your waist.
Tight pencil skirts can be worn by most body types, the length is important though. If you are more petite wear one that is knee length, rather than mid-calf like this one. If you have a fuller figure, you will want to wear a top that covers your hips and waist a little more.
