Casual Shoes

“Everyone sees what you appear to be, few experience what you really are!”

Shoes truly are the one aspect of your outfit that you don’t want to neglect.  A great deal of people that I come into contact with, work with or even meet for the first time, often mention the shoes I am wearing, even though they are only a small part of the outfit.

Wearing the wrong shoes – whether they don’t match the outfit, they look tattered or are just the wrong style, are things that are going to stand out…but not in a good way.  I know I have talked about this before, but picking your shoes before you pick your outfit or at least at the same time is a great way to make sure that you will look polished and put together.

I wear a lot of higher heels – mainly because I like how they make my legs look longer, but also because at some point I told myself that I was not tall enough (I am 5’5″).  Even though I do wear high heels or wedges a lot, there are definitely times when flats or lower heels are going to be the only thing that works.  The sandals I am wearing in this post are amazing, not just because they are Pewter metallic, but also because they are comfortable and they are still stylish and flat.  Because I am so used to wearing higher heels, I really have to think about my outfits when I wear flats or low heels to make sure I am doing it right.  If you are looking for some sandals that will be great for long days at Disney World, or just days when you have a ton of errands to run, trust me when I tell you…these are the sandals you will want.

In honor of the long weekend, and hopefully the opportunity that you will also get to take it a little easy and perhaps wear comfy sandals too…
