Black on Black

I am wearing classic Black today with a twist.  I recently bought this long shirt/tunic and wanted to pull it out to wear for work.  The top was the starting point, then the ankle boots and finally the polka dot skirt.  Black on Black is a classic look, and certainly doesn’t need to be boring.

I have talked about how I very often pick the shoes first, but that doesn’t have to be the case.  Today is a example of how you can chose any item of clothing and build an outfit around it.

I added a little color with a peach necklace and matching earrings – not too much color because I didn’t want to take away from the classic Black look, just enough!

Wearing booties with a business outfit is a great way to put your unique stamp on an otherwise simple outfit.
