I love to wear pants that show my ankles with high heels. It’s a look that lengthen your legs, and always makes me feel feminine. I have a rule during the week and that is, I always alternate between wearing pants and dresses or skirts. I do this because it pleases me to show a different side of my style personality every day!
Cropped pants, culottes, capri’s or any kind of pant that shows your ankles are a great way to not just be ordinary when you are wearing pants. As women we have so many options for styles that we can wear and this is one that is easy to add to your repertoire!
The heels I chose to wear with these pants definitely draw attention, and the top with the belt at the waist draw the eyes to that area of the outfit as well. If you are wearing pants that are form fitting or a little tighter like I am in this post, it looks more professional to wear a longer top or jacket.
If you choose to wear pastel colors (like these pale pink pants), make sure that you are covering any problems areas because they will definitely not hide anything, in fact, they can have a tendency to draw attention to those areas you don’t perhaps want them to, as well as showing underwear lines. Pastels can look great if they are worn right, so make you double check yourself in the mirror before heading out.
Just a few simple steps in your morning routine can change your outfit from ordinary to extraordinary, and they can be as simple as giving yourself a few extra minutes to get ready (or change if you are not “feeling” the look you were going for). One thing I have found is that if I am not at least 95% happy with what I am wearing, I go and change, because I know that feeling is not likely to improve as the day goes on!
