What does it remind you of when you think about anything tweed? If someone would have told me that I would be wearing a 2 piece suit that was Tweed before I found this little gem, I don’t think I would have believed them because I always associated Tweed with stuffy Englishmen going on the Fox Hunt!
When I found this suit – and I have had it a couple of years – I had to buy it for the same reasons that I might not consider it. Because I am originally from England, I think I have nostalgia surrounding the conservative side of my heritage, and I liked how this suit reminded me of that.
Wearing Tweed doesn’t have to be conservative or stuffy, in fact, there are so many styles now (especially for the Fall) that can be combined with other pieces that make the outfit much cooler than you would expect. Who would have thought that Tweed could actually bring you street cred? – well, it’s true!
Here are just some examples of ways you can wear Tweed to make it work for you:
These are just a few ideas that you can try and see which one works for your unique style. My only suggestion is you should try lots of variations of options before you completely rule something out. Finding your own Unique style is something that requires lots of experimentation but in the end you will be happy!
