There are so many different styles, colors and shapes of sunglasses out there, so how do you find the perfect pair?  What I have found is that I like different shades for different occasions, and I like a wide variety of shapes, colors and sizes.

Gold Rimmed Aviators – Michael Kors

For me the most versatile are Aviators – not the bright mirrored ones show below (not that I don’t love them, but you definitely have to be more conscious about what you are wearing them with), but rather the plain glass either Gold or Silver framed ones – like the ones above.

Mirrored Aviators – Michael Kors

The reason being that they can be used in a casual outfit or in a more business/professional outfit.  If I am looking to really dress up an outfit I like to pick out some Jackie O style shades (which are the bigger Black and often more rounded shaped shades – see picks below).  Wearing a pair of bright colored shades (such as Red or patterned like a couple of the ones I have highlighted is a little more daring), so if you are a sunglass novice, you should probably start out with some versatile shades that will work for many different occasions.
