I love Sundays when I have the opportunity to Barbecue after church and be outside with my family.  Sundays for our family are all about spending time together…with our busy sports and work schedules it truly is the only day we know for sure that we will be together.

I am holding onto the last of the summer, in fact I took the opportunity to wear some sandals that I haven’t worn for a long time.  They are kind of sassy and were the perfect compliment to this Green and White summer church outfit.  I love wearing a pencil skirt with a looser fitting top – it truly is one of the best ways to make sure that a loose top is not going to make you look frumpy.  Lacey, loose tops can be so flattering and feminine, so much so that you really don’t want to have anything else in your outfit that stands out.  With lace you don’t want to wear a skirt or pants that are too busy, because it is just going to take away from the blouse.

I love wearing green – it works really well with neutral colors particularly, such as Black, White, Cream, Grey and even Tan.  If you are feeling a little more adventurous you could try colors such as Cerise Pink, Royal Blue and even Yellow…

Enjoy the last of the summer, spend time in your yard, be with your family and have fun as we get ready to spend a long time indoors.  I personally need the sunshine to keep me energized so I am going to hang on to this fabulous weather for as long as possible.
