“Your hair is your best accessory.”
For me getting ready in the morning has always been somewhat of a sprint. Mainly because I would rather take every last possible minute sleeping rather than spending time getting myself ready!
I know I have mentioned this before, but I really like to create new hair styles or up-do’s. For me the morning is not the time to experiment with those. If I start creating a new style in the morning, it never turns out how I think it will and I usually end up disappointed. So here’s what I do…
I love to practice putting my hair up and experimenting on days when I have time (Sunday afternoons are always a great time). I come up with new ideas by looking on Pinterest or other websites.
Having plenty of bobby pins and elastics, a teasing comb and possibly a head band ready to go is essential for success. I also make sure that I plug in my flat iron or curling iron so that it’s ready to go once I am ready to straighten or curl the loose tendrils that accent the up-do.
Today’s style is a loose side bun – it is a little different from your regular bun and creates a completely different look.
One of the great things about wearing your hair up is that you can really experiment with your accessories – earrings that would not normally be seen when your hair is down will be accented and center of attention.
