How to wear Camo with Plaid

“Style is not about how many clothes you have it’s about how you wear them.”

For this Friday’s casual look I wanted to show how you can mix Plaid with something unexpected – Camo! The shirt and pants look great, but I wanted to add a little more spice and pair them with a great pair of Camo pumps!

Plaid looks best when you wear it with plain or solid colored pants. I typically like the darker plaids in the winter – they just seem a little bolder!

Try to avoid wearing plaid with other bold patterns or another plaid – the key here is not to overwhelm your look!

One of the rules when adding Camo to any outfit is to wear it in unexpected places – wearing shoes is a perfect example. Adding just a little Camo is great for adding a hint of “tough girl” without looking like you are ready to go hunting.
