“You have to have fun with hair – it’s a great accessory, play with it.”

One of the best things about having long or medium length hair is the versatility.  You can create so many different looks that match the style you are going for…

For yesterday’s post I chose to put my hair in a french twist or pleat, it just completed the sophisticated look I was going for.  The french twist is a style that is ageless, I actually used to do it in my early 20’s a lot and then kind of forgot about it for a while.  It is great because it is actually really easy to do to yourself AND it looks classy.

If you are looking for new ideas, and tutorials for how to create different ways to style your hair, my favorite place to go is Pinterest.  There are so many links to videos and step by step guides for different and unique hair styles.  I also like to experiment with my hair (if you are going to do this, you definitely want to do it when you are not in a hurry in the morning).

I consider hair to just be an extension of my accessories, so I try to do my hair in different styles as much as possible.  Of course, there are times when I try to recreate a look and can’t quite get it exactly the same, and that is fine too – in fact it only adds to the mystique of the different styles.

If you are not on Pinterest, it is definitely worth joining, or you can search Youtube for ideas as well.

Changing your clothes doesn’t have to be the only way you can express your individuality – use your hair to showcase great new styles and your confidence for wearing your hair in those great styles!

Good luck creating your own unique hair styles…
