Sunday Snow Day

“A Sunday well spent brings a week of content.”

I recently found this kimono jacket that I am in love with.  It is today’s Sunday Best Choice, and I am in love with the color!

Salt Lake is a Winter Wonderland today…I feel blessed to live in such a beautiful place.

Of course, snow like this makes it a little more difficult to wear heels for church – but I figured it out!

Sundays have always been one of my favorite days for many reasons:

1. I love to spend time with my family (at church or whatever we are doing).

2. I love to feel uplifted and give myself the opportunity to not focus on myself by helping others…

3. I love to dress up!

All of these things make Sunday a great day to forget about my troubles, problems and frustrations.  Getting ready on a Sunday morning however, is not free from any of those frustrations as my husband and I try to wrangle the kids into getting ready in time.  After spending time together at Church and then learning some things that take the focus away from just me, I always end up feeling more calm and loving!
