“Elegant is not what you wear, and it’s not about how you wear it, but it’s more about who you are.”

Even when I am putting together a casual outfit, I never REALLY dress down completely.  Whether that be by wearing high heels, a great jacket or bold accessories.  I like to still express my individuality even when I am dressing down.

I wanted to highlight another outfit I put together – sticking with the theme of wearing Khaki…

I have worn these pants in a previous post but in that post I wore a cream blouse.  This outfit shows how you can use the same piece from your closet and dress it completely different.  As you can see, I am sticking with adding earth tones with this looser fitting T-shirt.  Earth zones or neutrals are the colors that look the best with Khaki…so if you are going to recreate this look, steer away from bold reds, blues or yellows.

Adding in the Leopard Print shoes ties the whole look together and dresses up the outfit a little more.

As you can see, it is pretty easy to do, and because I have a statement belt, I didn’t add any necklace because it would have overwhelmed the look.

No matter what it is that you are doing, I have always thought it is important to look good doing it!  My good may look different from your good, but that doesn’t mean that it isn’t great…

Pants:  Worthington (JC Penney)    T-Shirt:  H&M     Shoes:  Charlotte Russe    Belt:  Nordstrom Rack
