I have found that I even like to shop in stores that are in Utah while I am out of town. They very often carry different items that I can’t find here, and stores like H&M are very affordable for styles that are not staples, but that are current trends.
This dress is one of those items. I loved the pattern, colors and cut of this dress, and since coming home it has been beautiful spring weather, I thought it appropriate to be able to show my legs just a little.
These type of “shift dresses” are great if you have a problem pouch or stomach area, because they are not fitted and don’t cling to problem areas. If you decide you want to try wearing one of these types of dresses make sure that you don’t wear it too large because it will look sloppy, or too tight because it will defeat the purpose and cling to all the areas you don’t want it to!
Colors are also important – I have found that certain colors wash me out, this dress with and bright colors would work really well for most complexions because there are so many different colors in the pattern.
The great thing about these types of dresses is that they can be casual or dressed up for work. The shoes you wear make a difference in how dressy they look. Sandals, wedges or even flip flops can work for a more casual look as well.
