“I am who I am, your approval is not needed.”

I love wearing white pants in the spring and summer, they just feel so fresh to me.  I especially love it when I can wear cropped ones to show off a great pair of shoes I have.

This outfit highlights some linen pants, a great navy and white top with some silver shoes to add an exclamation point to the whole outfit.

If you choose to wear white pants (or skirt) make sure that you are not wearing something too tight.  White doesn’t hide problem areas and in fact it can accentuate areas you may not want it to.  However, if you get it right, it can be slimming and fresh looking.

Denim or navy and white is a great way to dress up the white – the shirt I am wearing in this post is loose fitting and comfortable yet it still looks classy.

For me though, the completion of this outfit comes from the shoes.  They are very unique and draw attention to themselves.

Summer is a great time for you to explore different styles so that by the time fall comes you can start to feel more confident and comfortable in your own unique style.  Don’t be afraid to try something new – with that being said, if what you have tried doesn’t make you feel great, then steer clear of that in the future.  Sometimes we have to make fashion mistakes in order to find our own unique style.  It only becomes a problem if you are doing it every day.
