“Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one’s courage.”

Today’s outfit inspiration is from a shoot I did in the Fall…

Why?  Because I love the fact that I was outside in beautiful sunshine, the leaves turning were amazing and most importantly because I felt GOOD!!

I believe that when you find an outfit or a style that you love, then you should recreate it with different pieces as often as possible, because this is how you develop your unique style and create an amazing confidence in yourself and how you look.

Do you want to be able to walk out of your house feeling like you look like a million dollars without having to spend hours getting ready, or spending all your hard earned money to do it?  It’s easier than you think!  Really all is requires is:

  1. Someone who can be honest with you and tell you the truth about how you look when you are picking out clothes to wear.
  2. Confidence to try things that fit your personality.
  3. A little preparation (sometimes choosing outfits in the evening so you don’t rush yourself)
  4. Some style inspiration – that’s what I am here for – checking out style magazines, blogs or even on TV is a great way to find things you might like to try.  It’s always better to pick out one or two things from an outfit rather than just copying the whole thing…

One of the things I have realized over the years, that

even if I have the same body type as someone else that is wearing something, it is going to look completely different on me…

I am now at the point where I usually can tell by looking at something how it will look on me, and I hate to try things on in a store, so I usually buy what I think I will like and if worst comes to worst I have to return it. If you are going to do this, make sure that you buy your clothes from a place that is return friendly so you don’t have to worry about it!

Even though we are now on the 11th January, I am still feeling optimistic about the rest of the Winter, especially if I can reminisce about days and outfits that I wore in the Summer or Fall. It may require me taking a little “sunshine” break sometime in February to get me through my Birthday month 🙂
