“There is beauty in a Woman whose confidence comes from experiences; a Woman who knows she can fall, pick herself up, and move on!”
Dressing and picking out outfits has always been really exciting for me. Whether you feel the same way or not, at some point you are going to need to decide what you want to wear and put together an outfit.
Here are some simple steps that I would recommend to make it easier:
- Keep it simple – start out with a simple dress or outfit and then if you want to dress it up, add accessories.
- Don’t try to pick out things when you are in a hurry (this is why I usually pick out what I am going to wear the night before).
- Save your “experimentation” for days when you have less going on – so that if you are not 100% confident in what you are wearing, it won’t come across when you are meeting with other people.
- Ask for advice/feedback – this is a key one, because you need to make sure that those you are asking will be honest with you and that you are prepared for that honesty. Don’t take it personal, just adjust and move forward.
- Believe in yourself – I can tell you honestly that 99% of your confidence comes from how YOU feel! If you go into any situation feeling great about yourself & what you are wearing, it will translate into a positive experience for you and those around you.
I promise that if you use any of these tips, you will notice a difference. Go ahead, give at least one of them a try and let me know what you think.
Have a great Friday!
