Family Weekend

We are still up in Midway after spending a relaxing few days,  but now we are getting ready to head back down later this afternoon. Still have a little time left to hang by the pool before we start cleaning up the house.

My Sunday best is not exactly what it would normally be, so here are a few shots from our fun-filled weekend up here. We missed having Dalton with us, but we did get to spend some fun, quality time together.

What is your favorite thing to do on a Sunday?  Do you prefer to just relax after a long week, or are you determined to fit in some fun things that you normally don’t have time for?  I have to admit, I like to do a little of both.  I love hiking or doing some other fun activity with my family, but I also love just sitting and reading, perhaps watching a little TV (preferably when one of my sports teams is on), but ultimately my goal is to recharge my batteries for the upcoming week.

This upcoming week we have another fun trip planned to Up State New York for a baseball tournament for my 3rd son, Jack…we have done this tournament before with my 16 year old, Canyon, so we know how amazingly fun it is.  Stay tuned for details and lots and lots of baseball 🙂

Riding the Alpine slide last night and having dinner at the Ski Resort was so fun…my only complaint is that you wait for so long to ride the slide and then it’s over before you know it.  Of course, I do have a love for speed, so I went as fast as I could and some of the turns were a little hairy LOL!

What are some family activities that you love to do? We opted to ride the slide last night instead of going to a movie because it was such a wonderful night and we wanted to enjoy being outdoors and loving the scenery.
