I absolutely love finding ways to take something that is not exactly known to be a feminine print or style and making it my own. I truly believe that you can pretty much make anything feminine if you really want to. The Camo sweat pants are perfect for traveling, a day of baseball or running errands. So, how do you make something look more feminine? I think the simplest answer is always the best…all I did was put my hair up in a feminine looking style, added some feminine accessories, and wore a fitted T-shirt, which is much more feminine and classy than wearing a slouchy or baggy shirt. As I was packing for my baseball trip to Cooperstown after I had checked the weather I knew I need to bring a raincoat, layers and pretty much mainly pants. I am not used to wearing casual clothes for more than a few days at a time, so I had to really think about my outfits (especially because I didn’t want to overpack). When you are going on vacation what are your must have things that you always pack? One thing I always have to take with me wherever I go is my Nook…I am a really avid reader and like to take time every day to read. I always have more time to read on vacation so I have been known to go through 2-3 books, which is the best part of owning a Nook or Kindle – because I can have them downloaded already and only have to carry one small thing with me to read them all!
The opening ceremonies and festivities are at 430pm today and I am excited to see our team baseball ready and part of this amazing experience. There will be 104 teams and they will play 2 games each day…it is crazy, baseball fun! Dreamspark in Cooperstown is a great place to bring your 12 year old baseball players to compete with teams from all over the country. I will post some pictures tomorrow of the park with all the fields and everything that they have for the boys.
