As you probably know by now I am a big fan on bright colors, bold patterns and pretty much anything that is noticeable. So, when I came across this great patterned body suit (you know the ones that are kind of like a leotard with the fasteners) I just knew I had to get it. I used to own these kinds of tops when I was younger and quite frankly found them rather uncomfortable, so I had been hesitant up to the point that I came across this one. I talked myself into it because I loved the neckline, ruffles and of course the pattern. I have come to find out that I actually like it because it is flattering, stops the top from coming untucked, and it isn’t uncomfortable at all!
Because of the beautiful Fall colors, I decided to pair it with these great suede culottes that I bought last year. The culottes are great because they are warm for Fall days, they can be worn either dressed up or dressed down, and they are really comfortable. I wore the outfit for work today so I added a pair of cute Wine colored pumps with Gold detail, just to keep it professional looking.
I was a little sad after the beautiful sunny Fall weekend that it was a dreary grey day, but I got over it really quickly when I realized it meant that I could layer my outfit and add a cute older Leather jacket that I have (which is Green). You may think to yourself, that I am wearing a lot of different colors, and while that it is true, you should also notice that they are all colors that are in the pattern of the top and work really well together. Earth tones and Reds work really when you mix them together, and sometimes it’s even fun to add another unexpected color – such as Orange or Yellow, just to make it pop even more.
I have a feeling that I am going to be pulling out the tights really soon and that the unpredictability of Fall truly is upon us. I think it may be time to plan a vacation to somewhere sunny.
I hope you had a great Monday and no matter the weather where you are, that you find sunshine!
