Ruffles for Spring

A lot of what I have been seeing in the style magazines and on blogs talks about how ruffles are the big thing this spring.  This post shows you just a few examples of how cute ruffles can be, and if you want to make sure you are taking advantage of some of the ones I have found and love, I have created some shopping links below to make it easier for you to shop for some of your own ruffles for spring.

One of the great things about ruffles are that they are very feminine and versatile.  As you can see, there are many than can be worn as part of a casual outfit or even worn for work…

There are so many unique ruffle styles, so many colors, and so many different ways to wear them!  The Salmon Pink top shown above is one of my favorites…I added a little funk by pairing it with these amazing floral pumps and some contrasting Red sunglasses.  Sometimes, the statement from an outfit can be made by the shoes and/or accessories, just like I did in this post.  Not that the ruffle top isn’t enough, but sometimes colors can seem a little bland unless you pair them with a bright, bold color.

There is nothing like a top that is just a little different and not plain to boost your wardrobe credability!

The faux leather capri’s shown above are another unique way to wear ruffles that you most certainly will only see the really bold trying.  Have you ever looked at something and thought to yourself “I couldn’t pull that off!” – well, my question to you is, have you ever tried?  Have you ever tried something that is just a little outside your comfort zone to see if it would suit you and push you to be your own unique self.  It doesn’t mean everyone should go out there and try some faux leather capri’s, or even something that really doesn’t fit their personality or body type, but chances are there is something that you have seen and have been afraid to try.  If that is the case, why don’t you go ahead and give it a try anyway and see if it works for you – how else will you ever know?
