“Nothing Haunts us like the things we didn’t buy” – Unknown
I mentioned last week that you can add layers to any outfit and create depth. For this outfit I just wore tight black pants and a black long sleeved shirt. Then I added a tunic in brown and beige and finished it off with a loose belt. Adding boots that are a contrast to the black also is a great way to make your outfit unique.
This outfit could be paired with a cool jacket, sweater, vest or even just a great belt. Boots add the final touch, so if you want to recreate something like this, choose a contrast pair of boots along with your choice of jacket/top/tunic – again remembering that not everything needs to match.
If you choose to wear tight pants, black is always a great slimming color – you can also make your legs seem longer by choosing boots that have a heel.
I love these Guess Marciano boots – the black pants are from Nordstrom and the long sleeved black shirt is from Target – finished off with a Michael Kors watch.
