I believe that I live in an amazing City surrounded by fabulous mountains and amazing scenery. During the Winter months, however, we very often don’t get to see too far because Salt Lake has an inversion that holds smog and fog in the Valley. When I realized that the day of this shoot was going to be such amazing weather, it only made sense to take some shots so you too can see what I love to see!
The views are breathtaking…but the simplicity of this outfit is also something worth talking about. It is a really simple look – and therefore each for anyone to recreate for themselves. The top is a purchase I made on that amazing Zara app I mentioned yesterday, the skinny jeans are from Cotton On and the highlight for me are the amazing boots! You will see more of these boots in posts to come, but just to suffice it to say, I am in love with them, they are not too high, they work for casual or can be dressed up, and the most important feature for me is that they are Unique!
I had a few comments about the top that I look reminiscent of a Flamenco dancer, well…I consider that a compliment because I love the cut and flow of this top, and if I feel good, then pretty much I know it means I look good too! 🙂
I don’t know if you checked out yesterday’s post or not, where I had some links to some great sales that are just going on this weekend – if you didn’t, you still have time!
I know there are a lot of you that don’t like to shop, and I totally get that, but if you can see something you like online and order it (especially if the site you are ordering from has a great return policy) what do you have to lose? At the very least you have to send back something that doesn’t fit, or you don’t like how it fits you…
I have lots of friends that order a whole bunch of things online and then try them on at home. They usually only end up keeping one or two things, but it’s super easy to return, so it’s not a hassle.
I hope that wherever you are, and whatever you are doing, you see the beauty around you…the expression “Smell the roses” comes to mind. Whether you are in the cooler seasons or not, enjoying everything that is going on around you certainly helps to make this journey we call life, so much more satisfying. I hope your weekend is beautiful!
