I don’t know about you, but I have always loved long and flowing dresses, but sometimes it’s hard to find the right occasion to wear one!
When I found the dress highlighted in this post, I thought it would be perfect for every day wear or on a day when you wanted to feel just a little more special than normal. I wore mine for church today but it would also work for going out to dinner or just a general date night. The fabric is stretchy making it comfortable, but the cut and fit make it look more classy and sophisticated.
The great thing about Maxi Dresses like these are that they can still look classy and definitely don’t have to be the kind of thing you just wear to the beach. I have found that the best way to make an lasting impression is to do something unexpected. Lot’s of people are wearing shorter dresses and skirts, so by mixing it up a little and not being predictable you are expressing your own unique take on style.
My dress had a belt at the waist and was a little more fitted, but that doesn’t mean that some of the looser fitting Maxi Dresses can’t look great too. The main thing you need to remember is that you don’t want to wear something too loose because it will make you look frumpy or too tight because then you are drawing people’s focus in the wrong way.
Have fun this summer and find different ways to express yourself in a Maxi Dress.
