“Years End is neither an end or beginning but a going on, with all the wisdom that experience can instill in us.” – Hal Borland
Celebrating New Years in another country is a first for me! We had so much fun and got to find out some new traditions…for example, the waiter handed us all a little bag of grapes in the lead up to midnight. We just thought that it was another food item at this “all inclusive”, but we came to find out that it is a Mexican tradition to eat one grape at each chime of the clock at midnight!
We had fun spending time with family and friends, and I loved that I got to get a little more dressed up than usual.
I love the color and flow of this great yellow skirt – the cut also hides a lot of evils (like over-eating at an “all inclusive” resort).
Yellow is such a great summer color – but because we were where it is sunny, I felt like it was a great opportunity to wear this skirt. These are family pictures because there was no way for them to not be involved at such a special time of year…
